my 5 year old yorkie had a funny turn this morning his back legs were wide apart he became all disorientated and was shaking this only lasted for a few minutes i thought it might be a mild seizure ,after that he was back to normal as if nothing happened .he went out with the dog walker in the morning and he came back normal ,she has been walking him for 4 years she is a dog lover and only walks him with her own 2 dogs and my other 2 yorkies.he is very healthy boy is this anything to worry about i will ring the vet in the morn .and even when i do go to the vets they will not be able to do any thing he is back to normal it was a frightening experience for me

Although I have a different breed now, I used to have Yorkies. A pup that I bred & kept had the same sort of thing as yours one day out of the blue. She never had another one for a couple of years, but then started having them quite frequently. It was diagnosed as epilepsy in the end & sadly the medication she was on didn't work...
As your dog is a bit older, it could maybe be an imbalance of some sort that has triggered the seizure. Perhaps you should get a blood test to check for sugar levels, infection etc to try & pinpoint the cause of this.
Something like this shouldn't be ignored, & it might not happen again, but you should get it checked out anyway.
