Dear breeder,
I am 13 yrs old and I live in Warrington. Last year my grandmother lost her husband and beloved whippet,Timmy. My family and I think it would be a good idea to find a whippet (of any age/colour/sex) to give her some company and help her to get over her losses. We have spoken about it with her and she has decided that nothing other than a purebredwhippet will do (no crosses, after many discussions we still cannot persuade her otherwise). My grandmother has very good experience with taking care of whippets in particular (she has had 2 in the past) and she is willing to rehome almost any whippet, whether old or young. There is a country park situated within minutes from her home, my grandmother is perfectly mobile and she has a car. I am almost at my wits end because we have tried almost everywhere to try and give a companion a new home so any offers would be excellent news very soon! Hi Lauren,

Good luck in your search for a whippet for your Gran. She's really lucky to have such a caring family who've discussed with her about getting her a new dog.

Hi Lauren
I have just read on one of the other dog boards about a whppet/greyhound cross who is 8mth old that is in desparate need of a loving home just like your Grans. His name is Noah and he is 8mth old, he was abandand in the freezing weather miles from his home. or phone Lorry on 01995 61117 or 01995 61145

Note for Leigh:
I know this is a link to another board BUT it is for a good cause, If it cant stay is there anyway you could copy the picture of him and put it on here

Thanks Twills

Longdog

Dawn ......there is no problem with this link :-)

We only snip signature URL's, which you can list in your profile.

I hope the dog gets a home soon.
