Hello Guest
I have no experience of breeding a litter, so can't give you direct advice. However, if I were in your situation, I would call my vet right away and speak over the situation with them.
Hope this helps.

How old is the pup? How long has it been poorly? Does it feel cold? Does it feel 'floppy'? Is mum ignoring it? Does he feel stiff and is his tongue sticking out? (that happens in hypoglycaemia).
The first thing you should do is contact your vet. If the pup is at all cold, warm it (down your own clothers agaist your skin is best). You probably need to get some fluid into him, but if he feels cold don't try to fed him until he is warm. Check for dehaydration by gently pinching the skin at the back of his neck. Is the pinched area slower to go back than a normal pup's? If so he is dehydrated. Your vet can give an injection under the skin to correct this, but you can also give the pup some fluids by mouth. If you don't have anything to rehydrate with, make a solution of water and glucose or even wather and sugar if you have nothing else. Get it into him with an eye dropper or drip it into his mouth from a corner of a clean cloth if he can't suck.
Good luck!

If the puppy is cold get your hairdryer and gently try and get him warmed up I think this is the best method that I have used get him to the vet asap he will proberbly get him on a drip to rehydrate him he will need glucose your could try sugared water from a dripper if he is to weak to suck, but your main priority is to get vetinary treatment, try to get the vet to come out is not get a hot water bottle and wrap it in a towel keep rubbing him to stimulate him

Think we must have posted at the same time

:)
Hope the Guest registers as a member and gets back to us with more details soon. And gets a vet ASAP. Never tried the hairdryer trick but I'll keep it in mind from now on.

I agree with what everyone else has said so far. I would give the pup some milk if you can warm him up, but be careful you dont flood the lungs, just a few drops on the tongue for now. Have you any liquid dextrose in the house, if so alittle drop in the mouth wont hurt. sugar water is the same thing, its getting some sugar into his system that can help.
Keep pup warm, you could have a fading puppy.
Feel inside the mouth if its cold then you really do have a sickly puppy.
Does he blow back milk? If so he could have a cleft palate, check the roof of his mouth.
You will have to hand feed this pup even though it may seem to suckle off the mother it may not have the strength to get much milk from the mother so give some milk over 24 hours at least. But be careful you dont give too much.
If you are worried and your vet is local, call them for advice.
