sorry everyone i've let you down to, as well as letting myself down but i'm feeling pretty down as i have some quite serious marriage problems, today has been hell of a day, just logged on, don't wanna bore anyone with my problems but right now dieting is the last thing on my mind i think i am comfort eating!  i will get started and restart my life at the same time so hopefully all will work out.
- By lilylaru [gb] Date 22.02.04 22:14 UTC
i'm exactly the same... oh well, at least i haven't gained anything, even with the fattening cup of tea !

Hi there,
Sorry about the late post but was on day shift and only just got back.
Start weight: 16st10 (didn't get the scales 'til Tuesday or Wednesday)
This morning: ...........16st5.........YES!!!! 5 lbs weight loss. I am over the moon :-D
All thanks to Weight Watchers. Started going on Wednesday night and stuck to it all week. Only problem was I had a celebration Toffeeanna pie tonight :-( Think I'll leave it a few days now before I weigh myself, lol.

Come on girls, if I can do it, anyone can ;-)
- By Lea Date 22.02.04 22:35 UTC
Whey hey, you have beaten us!!!!!!!!!
I had a bottle of wine last night so not going to weigh myself again till next Saturday!!!!!!!

This is mad! I lost 1 lb yesterday even with the "naughty pud". This diet is a license to eat :-D The only "sacrifice" that I've made is cutting down on my cups of tea. Normally would drink 12 - 15 cups a day with loads of milk and 1.5 sugars. Got down to 3 or 4 with 1 sugar, rest of the time drinking diet coke or boiled water. Not too nice to start off with but used to it now .. sort of, lol. Apart from that, I'm eating 3 times a day instead of usually just once so must have kick started my metabolism. I'm getting so into it though. I will be able to smile at a camera, I will dare to go swimming again :-)

well I managed to lose 3lb not sure how as I have been eating tunes all week as I have the flu
- By Lindsay Date 23.02.04 11:06 UTC
I'm thrilled with Rosemary Conley online. Have lost 4 and a half pounds over 2 weeks, and 2 inches off my waist! Plus i feel full of energy  :)

Manged to eat 2 caramel eggs and 1 Galaxy during that time too :D

Hi there please tell me what diet it is you are all on because i need to diet and eating caramel eggs is my idea of the perfect diet!!!!
Thanks Deb
- By Helen.D [gb] Date 23.02.04 13:00 UTC
Hi Deb,
I've gone on WeightWatchers and now lost 6lbs since Wednesday morning, but we're all doing different ones. Some of us are following diet-plans but others are generally cutting down. Think its a case of just finding what's right for you ;-)  On a lot of the diets though you can have choccies and cakes and things , don't know how the others work but WW is on points and you just have to stay within your points for that day (or save some and carry them over to another day if you know you're going out to dinner or cooking for friends etc). Good luck in finding the right one.
Helen.

- By Helen.D [gb] Date 23.02.04 13:03 UTC
So if you were Billy No Mates and joined AlAnon, then you'd have won! At least you've had fun AND lost some weight and every pound lost is two that you haven't gained so you're doing alright :-D
- By luvly [gb] Date 23.02.04 13:17 UTC

Hiya Maglaura and Deb,

I am on www.slimwithrosemary.com

and also bought her "Eat yourself Slim" as IMHO it has some fantastic info such as how many calories i can eat each day and still lose weight !!! I can eat 1500 !!! :)

You also get to do a brilliant little chart which shows your progress, it's actually quite fun. Kept to a healthy 1400 today (after dinner) and STILL managed to save enough calories for another caramel egg for later :D :D :D

I believe the art too, is writing down the calories of everysingle thing you eat. I used to think that was stupid, but have to eat my words on that one now!! ;)

Really chuffed with myself, my start weight was 12.7 and I'm now 12.3 however, I actually started my diet 5 weeks ago and went to the doctors today to be weighed and have officially lost a stone!!  I was 13.3 when I started!!!

My next target weight is to get to 11stone something - don't care what exactly but as long as I can say 11 stone something rather than 12 stone something!!!

The Goddess Programme is brilliant, its really nice to be able to spur each other on!!

I'm just SO weak-willed :( Hubby reminded me this morning that I have a carrier bag half full of chocolate truffles from his last visit to the factory shop in Norfolk. I have just eaten about 8  They were supposed to be for Xmas and I had forgotten about them. He is going to Norfolk today and will go to the shop to get Easter eggs for the kids - if he brings me more truffles I will be DOOMED - DOOMED  - - HELP :D
