Is there any way I can help my dog to over come getting his very upset stomach he does it on the slightest bit of food different to his meal I have to give him superdog for sensitive stomachs and gluten and wheat free ticbits at shows but they don't get his attention in the ring and sometimes he doesn't move very well and I think its because he feels a bit ill can anyone help his an American cocker spaniel

Have you actually carried out any food sensitivity tests?  Blood testing can reveal food allergies and help you create a diet that is best for him.  Not sure what is in Superdog?  I had a very allergic dog but with correct diet manipulatin avoided the recurrent ear infections he suffered from.

You have a breed that can have ear problems and so it is important to steer clear of anything containing yeast and/or sugar which can trigger a yeast overgrowth.  http://www.animal-allergy.com/pet-owners/contact-us-pets.php4

Take the dog to the vets it needs a check up and they will tell you what ear cleaner you need.

Gluten and wheat-free treats for the show ring

smoked ham (or other cold meat if he likes it)
Cheese - any hard smelly cheese will do (cheddar is good)
Dried meat jerky
Dried Liver
You can make your own liver cake and use gluten free flour - the recipe should be on this site if you do a search.

Burns and James Welbeloved are wheat free and gluten free complete foods for dogs.  They will send you samples if you contact them through their web sites.

Fiona

Min my oldie has colitis. She is fed on Nature diet which has vastly improved the condition. She gets carrots and apples as treats so why not try that with your one ? This doesn't tend to upset her tummy too much.#
