Hello all and Happy Valentines Day!

Well today was quite an adventurous day for Beau. As for those who do not know what i do, i work in a center for teens in Mexico. Well, i went to San Diego on Friday night to visit a friend and i had left Beau at the center as i always do when i leave for a period of time. This morning at about 9:30 AM, we recieved a phone call that one of the residents had tried to run away and that Beau had gone with him!!! =( I could not help myself to think the worst and just break down. I have never lost anyone or any animal before and Beau is my first dog, so you can only imagine what i was probably feeling. One of the most overwhelming feelings ever. We were then told at about 11:30 that they had found him about 25 MILES AWAY!!!!!!!!! And my baby was with him and she was safe! I was so scared that she could have got hit by a car or that he would have tried to leave her somewhere, etc.... When i got home, (i had to come back early) i was so happy to see her and see that she was alive and OK. She thought she was in trouble, ad of course she wasnt. I loved her and kissed her like never before. I have been told that when i leave her up there she sits on the porch and waits for me all night long, so i am sure she probably thought he was taking her home to me. So, she is exhausted and cant even open her eyes, but i am just happy to still have her around.

Thank goodness everyone got back safely. :D Has it put you off letting Beau stay at the centre?

Yes the boy was safe too and he is back in the center. And NO Beau will not be staying there anymore. I am going to have to buy a very long rope, and tie her up outside. Thank you all for your words.
