we are hoping to put in an offer on a villa in Lanzarote next week, we would spend the winter out there and summer in england, BUT could we take our dog (leonberger) with us, we couldnt leave her behind!!?

any help would be wonderful

Yes, it is possible under Pet Passport scheme. Go to the DEFRA site which should give you all the info. you need.
