I have never heard of them either, even tried a google search and nothing. May we ask why you are asking?

We have been offered a dog as a result of a marriage breakdown. She told us that the dog is of the Colomica Breeding/Breeder and that the dogs dam has won BOB at Crufts.
She said the breeder lives in the Doncaster area.
I have looked at Dalmation sites on the internet searchsites, but could find no reference to this affix at all.
Hmm, the last bitches to get BOB were CH Buffrey Arrabelle at Daedalus in 2000, Ch Washakie Indian Summer in 1994 and 1996, and Ch Weaponess Firebird in 1991. Nothing anything like Colomica. And you can bet your bottom dollar any pups they produced have had those affixes.
I think Jeangenie or myself would of heard of Colomica if they had won BOB at Crufts You could try e.mailing the Dalmatian club with an enquiry on the affix, here is a link to the website if you haven't already found it. Here
Just because we haven't heard of the affix doesn't mean the dog would not make you a nice pet. See if she will send you a copy of the pedigree and I am sure we will recognise some of the names on it.
Good Luck Sandra

Many Thanks for all your time and trouble, very kind of you. We will ask some more questions of the owner before making our final decision. Thanks again.
Oops, I forgot Mapplewell Minstrel in 2001, whose owners live in Sheffield, but that's not a similar name either. It's always possible that they have since acquired the affix you are searching, but I can't find any trace of it in the books I have. As Sandra says, the breed club secretary should be able to help you.
