Dear all

I would be grateful first and foremost if I can be pointed in the direction of a reputable club to take my dog Milly (4 year old GSD) whom we have had for a month. She is pure breed GSD although we have taken her from an RSPCA centre. The training is mainly to instill some commads in the dog and to also interact with other GSD owners. I live in Chepstow (WALES) and therefore any associated clubs in the area.

In addition, it is apparant that the Milly was abused as a pup by young children and she is therefore fearful of them and becomes aggressive on contact with children. In all other repects, with cats, other dogs she is a softy and will tolerate alot.

I would like to see Milly improve her tolerance of children and would like some suggestions on moves to alter her behaviour.

Many thanks for reading this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. (To all those people who say GSD's are aggressive, I find Milly to be the most loving and caring dog I have had).

Thank you
