Please Help!!!!
We lost our Beloved Westie dog aged 11yrs a few weeks ago. Our other dog Ellie was misssing him terribly, off her food etc. (she is 8yrs) we got in touch with the breeder where we bought them both from, she said we could have a 5yr old dog she had. My problem is, Ellie is ignoring him!!! he is such a friendly little thing but she just doesn't want to know. (he only arrived yesterday) Any tips would be much appreciated. By the way, the breeder has said if he doesn't settle she wants him back, which is fair enough. I want him to be happy and settled as much as she does. Please help if you can, Thanks.

Ignoring him is good.  Better than her being hostile towards him.  I don't think you need to worry, it's very early days.

Don't worry, if you bring a young pup home, it will usually take a couple of weeks for the older dog to accept it.  Don't try too hard, just act normally around them and I am sure they will be the best of friends in no time.
