Is there any bad things in this food at all like Ethoxyquin,BHT,BHA? Or is this a good food...Just curious since it seems to be good ingredients...I do like the Nutro and am planning on sticking to it...They e-mailed me and said that they do not use Ethoxyquin or any other chemical in their food it is all naturally preserved with Vitamin E....I noticed Nutrience uses Citric acid is there a big difference between that and vitamin E?

The purdue study on bloat states that there appears to be an increased rate of bloat in dogs fed with a food that had citric acid used as a preservative.  Citric Acid is related to Vitamin C.

I personally would not feed anything with a "yeast" culture in it; what is it for?  It is something I would avoid if I had a "yeasty" dog.

There also appear to be a helluva lot of ingredients in it inc herbs, to what purpose?

Also I would prefer my Omega 3s to come from an animal source rather than linseed; the latter can cause itchiness.

My dogs refused to eat it :( There are an awful lot of herbs in there tho, that might put some dogs off?
If your friend wants to feed a natural food why not try:Burns or jwb.

If she's after a dry food - Autarky's a good one (and has the added herbs etc too). :)
