Hi there
Before eben considering buying a puppy from anyone you should may sure all the health checks have been carried out on the parents
For German Shepherds They should both be Hip Scored(the lower the score the better) & the Sore(father)should have been tested for Haemophyllia
If this has been done the breeder will have certificates from the BVA of the Hip Scores & a blood test for the Haemaphyllia
You must always be able to see the mother at the breeders The father may belong to another breeder but his details should be available
You should also be able to see ALL the litter if they are under 8 weeks of age
Most Good GSD breeders will also have had their dogs Tattooed although some prefer the microchip
The Tattoo will mean you will be able to know the puppy you pick is the one you take home if it has aleady been tattooed
Best of Luck
