Can't help you with pancreas probs in dogs but have had it myself on and off for the past 20 years and have at times been very seriously ill.
Hope they have got you're dog early enough to help.
I'm sure someone will be along later who will know how it affects dogs to give you some advise.

Kind regards,
Linda

Has your dog been DEFINITELY diagnosed with Pancreatic Insufficiency?  Some years ago my vets thought my dog was suffering from this, but it turned out to be Addisons Disease.  If the dog has this then it can "crash".  If after being on the drips at the vets the dog appears to be Ok, perhaps it is worth considering.  There are many informative sites regarding Addisons, but try the Standard Poodle club's site.
