HORSES. Can't stand to be near one but I just love to watch them move, it's the power in them and they can look so elegant too. They petrify me but they are a lovely animal.

I love dogs & cats.
I also love big cats. I'd love to have a baby tiger & rear her. What would the neighbours say when I let her out to play with my moggies :)
Digging up the neighbours flowers to leave a big tiger poo.
Oh well perhaps I'll just stick to my little cats. :)
Horses, pigs, tigers, gorillas and whales. Unicorns are my ultimate fantasy animal and I collect them on mugs, pictures, tattoos when Im thinner etc

Perro - correct me if I am wrong but aren't you in the Midlands (solihull area). If so then you can come and watch as many horses including stallions as you want. They dont bite - honest.

I love dolphins. Unfortunately they don't make very good pets! But they are such beautiful, intelligent animals. :)

Well, I've got dogs, cats, horses and geese......but i'd really love to own an African Grey Parrot, they are amazing.
Onto other animals....All of the big cats are just beautiful, and I love watching programmes on them.....think tigers are my favourites.
I used to have a thing about elephants...and I still love them now. When I was in junior school (long time ago now) I was chosen, along with three others to go to a circus (which I HATE now, but was excited then) and wash an elephant. She was called Jayne, and was a beauty! We scrubbed her down with yard brushes and then gave her a good hosing!!
We were even in the newspaper (Dad has still got the cutting!!)
So that started my lifelong love of elephants....
And then there's blue whales....they're gorgeous.....
I could go on forever!!!!

Hi there,
As well as my dogs I have a horse, cats, leopard gheko, bearded dragon, fish and currently fostering a pair of lovebirds. I would also like in the future either a macaw or a marmoset. I like other reptiles and parrots too as well as big cats.
Truely. :-P

I used to be seriousley into horses, show jumping etc. gave it up top concentrate on the dogs & obedience comps.
i do miss Hallie[my horsey-sold her 2 1/2 years ago now] even though she was nuts!!!!i rescued her when she was 4 & had her for 4years! 15.2[just!]hh, quater horse X t.b, bright bay with a large star! i do miss her but it was the right thing to do, i found it impossible to do that many things with 100% effort! shes gone to play polo in london & loves it! i took much less money for her because it was the right home......but i still miss the ole cowbag!!!!

Hi there Michelled,
I know how you feel, I too had to part with my lovely 4 year old QH mare who I bought even before she was conceived (I ordered her from her breeder even before he'd sent the mare to the stallion). I'd always wanted a quarter horse and this was the cheapest way of getting one as I stated it didn't matter if it was a colt or filly. Unfortunately she did not make the height expected and at only 14hh was wasted in my home as I felt I was much too big for her and she was much too talented to just have as a companion to my other horse! She was the sweetest mare, so good looking - a rich red (mahogany) bay, typical quarter horse looks and she learn't very quickly. She was riding out on the roads so quietly next to horses who had been broken for years who constantly dodged traffic and messed about. I managed to secure her a lovely new home and I too let her go cheap because I believe it is the right home for her and the people who bought her are wonderful!
Truely. :-P

Hi truley, Hallie was totally bombproof with traffic too, unfortunatly wasnt leaf or drain proof that caused a few hairy moments! if i ever got another horse(if) id love to get another Quater horse or X,she was fab, totally my horse though which made it harder, but i know her new owner thinks the world of her.
This happened just the once, i was sitting on a bank in her box passing the time as you do, & she lay down & put her head on my lap. that was a fantastic moment in my life, she was affectionate;BUT on her terms!
i do miss her.

I am fascinated by most things which is why I have a couple of 'tarantula's', used to keep horses, my fave was a part bred arab mare I had when I was about 20 - She was chestnut and totally crazy :D...I've kept loads of beasties from praying mantids to scorpions, oh and I've had rats! Love big cats, and sea mammals. Once I went on a 10 day conference in Costa Rica which involved spending the night in the rainforest...Oh..My..God - What an experience - we had spiders, snakes, giant bull ants and best of all howler monkeys waking you up at 3am :D...I love all animals to be fair...Even ugly, nasty one's!
