As you are the only Dobermann person I know of on here, I thought you might be able to help.
You may or may not have seen my post about teething affecting dobermann pups ears. Is this something you have heard of before, and is it normal.
I have a photo of Chloe at the moment, if this any use, I could show you what I mean as I was unable to describe it properly on my post!
Hope you can offer some advice on how to sort this out if we can!

Not Kerioak...just me :D I can say that teething DOES affect Malamutes ears so it would seem probable that Dobes ears could also be affected
I will shut up now and wait for Keioak to arrive :D :D
Thank you anyway - it has become a cause of real panic!
She is an absolute beauty apart from that though - no bias whatsoever! :)

Hi Rachel
Again not Kerioak but your post made me laught. At this very moment Lola's ears have developed a kink!!! The last time this happened was when she was teething :D A friend of mine who breeds Dobes said it's quite common for this to happen. I think Christine (Kerioak) also reponded to my post on Dobes and ears :D
Annieee :)
Thank God!
We were beginning to think her show careerwas over before it had even started!

I've sent you a photo of her Anne
Hi
I have been reformatting my computer so have missed a few days. Yes, Dobe puppy ears go all over the place when they are teething but generally return to the carriage they had before teething. One I bred went completly erect for a few weeks whilst she was teething but she has very small, fly away type ears.
