i have a gsd bitch, i waited till she was 8 weeks for her 1st jab then 10 weeks for her second, dont take your pup ouside though till shes had her 2nd jabs then a week later, in the meantime you can take her out up in your arms to get her used to traffic sounds and people, she cant go out mixing with other dogs and go on the ground, your own garden is fine as long as no other dogs can use it, if you have other dogs then shes fine as long as there innoculated.
i was able after mine had her first jab to take her in my arms to puppy socialisation classes at the local dog training class.
goodluck hope this helps

I would get his first inoculation done now and get him out and socialise him. Carry him in your arms to the shops, the bus stop, along the main road. Invite people and children to your house but don't let them overwhelm him. Invite some dogs and owners over for a coffee too. He needs to meet lots of sociable inoculated dogs of all ages and sizes. Then when he has finished his jabs and can go for a walk he will take everything in his stride and be a confident, well adjusted pup.
