Havent posted for a long time, but have a question
Is it possible to have dew claws removed on older dogs?? or is it only possible as puppies?

The reason i ask is that i did not have my pups done and have just heard that one of the pups (6 months now) is being speyed and having her dew claws removed/or shaved possibly done at the same time..

Im sure they can remove them in older dogs, i believe that vets will only usually do it whilst the dog is having something else done eg spaying. But i cant see why it would be a problem just having an op to remove the claws. im not 100 % certain though, im sure someone else can help you out.
