Hi, as a Munster owner/breeder I would love to have a book on the breed. Unfortunately there isn't one. There are not enough of us to warrant a book being printed. The Large Munsterlander Club do a Handbook every ten years or so. There may still be some available.
The working Munster breeders are usually the ones who 'tip' the end of the dogs tails. This is to try to stop the end splitting. I had my first litter done, but refuse to do it now after I almost lost a pup due to it not healing. Though I have also had a bitch whose tail kept splitting. You can't believe how much blood comes out of a tail
If you want any more info please feel free to PM or e-mail me.
Linda
