just been to buy Tobys food, decided to change him from bakers onto beta supposed to be a better quality even though it is made by the same company as bakers, gave him a bit to try and he loved it, mind you he is a lab  ;) has anyone used beta how do you find it? Toby has a fab coat on bakers but after hearing different peoples opinions thought i would try a change,

I bought that one for my bitch. I persevered for a while but she wasn't eating it so changed back to Bakers. Go for it. My sister feeds her staffy on Beta and he loves it and looks happy on it.

Hiya there,
My vet informed me they beta wasn't as palatable as some other brands. didn't ask her how she knew that though! haha.
then again, you are talking about a lab and as a several lab owner i know they'll eat anything including walls, carpets , fruit bowls, video remote controls, leather handles off leads.... just a wee list of the things I've lost thanks to my boys and girls! haha.
(and they have all survived incidently)
take care,
Shane x
well so far Toby seems fine on Beta no sloppy poo :) i didnt have any trouble with Toby eating before the change but he does seem even more interested in Beta, although the first couple of days he had terrible wind :o

IMHO Burns is the best food you can get, less fillers / wheat etc, my lad is doing really well on it - wouldnt feed anything else now
