I will be getting an american bulldog puppy in just over a month (she is only 3 weeks at the moment) does she have to wear a muzzle when I take her out as I really don't want to put one on her. (I know she wont have to have one as a small puppy I mean when she gets to a few months old)

Do you mean under the DDA?  I don't believe the American Bulldog is one of the listed breeds. Infact if you do ever need to muzzle your dog for any reason be very careful as their skull formation puts them in a high risk group for suffocation when muzzled.

the american bulldog does not fall under the dda so it is not neccesary by law to muzzle them.to be honest when people see them with muzzles on it makes them think they are nasty which in my meetings with the breed i have found to be totally unjustified.
