Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Puppy poorly?

I took my 5 month old puppy for its usual walk (pavement) yesterday evening.  When I returned home I noticed blood on the floor, when I checked its paw he
had cut his pad about 1cm, I cleaned it and checked for glass.  He seemed fine,
However this morning he doesn't seem well, just saying on his bed etc.  I've
his paw again and it seems ok.  Could this be coincidence and theres something
else wrong with him?  I've been to the vets twice with him before (shut paw in
car door & ear infection)  Should I take him to the vets or see how he is tomorrow
I dont want to seem nurotic, can anyone offer any advice, by the way he is walking fine, no limping.  Thanks.

I would guess he is just feeling a bit sorry for himself.  It is probably hurting him when he stands on it, they can't understand why.  Keep an eye on him tonight and the wound, if he is no better tomorrow get it checked out.

Try and take his mind off of it and give him a big cuddle.

Never worry about being neurotic!! You are the one paying and he's your dog after all
