and walk them for that matter, since I see mostly women doing the dog walking,
or maybe I just haven't been taking notice until lately, I started wondering about this last week
sometime.

and no I'm not only asking only because this board seems to have a 95% woman 5% man ratio.

I'm sure I won't live a fuller nor happier life knowing, but in your experience,
does the saying "Dogs are man's best friend" need to be revised?

We know that, dogs know that - its just something that men don't have to know ;) !

There are lots and lots of reasons why dogs are womens' best friends...... I'll try & find them & list them out..

My springer spaniel is the most faithful man I have ever shared my life with!   He doesn't get obsessed by football; comes back when called; never tells me off for spending too much money or having a shopping spree; never questions my mood; doesn't complain about my cooking and eats everything put infront of him. He gives me unconditional love (I don't have to promise anything ;-) ) and he's alway upfront and honest about his relationships with other women too!!

They don't care if you shave your legs, how much money you spend or leave the toilet seat up :D

Well I have 7 bitches & 1 dog & they're always pleased to see me too, they don't mind if I look at pictures of other dogs or stroke someone else's dog..... Furthermore they are always FAITHFUL...

I forgot to mention that he NEVER minds how much time I spend on the phone; doesn't hog the computer and never comments on my weight!

They don't pinch my covers on the bed, though I must admit I do end up sleeping at the edge f the bed holding on for dear life!!  :d
