Yes. (Unless you have second sight and can guarantee that your pup is not going to become ill or have an accident.)

The answer to that is YES. It's suprising how much vets bills can run into. You never know what will happen to your new friend. Eg, he might get run over and have to have very very expensive surgery that could cost you hundreds, then you would kick yourself. For just several pounds a month you'd be a fool to carry on without it. It's not like it costs a forturn, but might end up costing you a fortune.

Just a second thought. Do you insure your car against accidents???????
