Woke up with an awful cold and crawly skin and things have gone down hill from there :(

Kids have fought since they got home from school, the house is a tip, Dizzy got very excited and wee'd all over the settee, I burnt the dinner and just ran myself a cold bath

Tell me your good news.... please cheer me up :)

:(

Cheer up.  :)

the kids will be friends again tomorrow. :)

forget about dinner & get some chocolate to munch on.  :)

If you tidy up, the house will be a tip again tomorrow, so don't bother. :)

Turn the cushions over on the settee & noone will know.  :)

& stay on CD for 30 mins & you'll feel happy & realaxed.  :)

Erm..... Dolly ran off in the park (yet again) you think the darn dog can be trusted and she shows you up! I even had a whole block of cheese ;)
How long is she gonna be a 'Kevin' :(

Good news?? It is January you know, dark nights, depressing moods (and that's just the dog) :D

Well, here's our bit of good news:    several of you may have read about Purdey, and how we thought we were about to step onto the Rainbow Bridge - well she has been on the Metacam for 4 weeks now, and it really has helped - she is still stiff, and has good days, slightly better and slightly worse days.

I've always been able to introduce puppies to our "oldies" - and have been fortunate enough to find a litter of labbies, carrying a lot of Purdey's lines, through Champdogs - and tonight, we have brought our baby home!   Purdey has sniffed her all over, she has checked Purdey over, Purdey has made it quite clear that baby is NOT allowed on her bed :D - baby has met and played with the Aussies - and the cats - and at the moment is asleep on Adrian's slippers after having sampled some of the Aussies' food, some of Purdey's & Gypsy's, eaten half her own, eaten a little bit of cat food (and tried to sample the litter tray - eugh!!) .

Purdey is lying there watching her.....

And I have the rest of the week off, to help her settle in, Adrian has next week, Nick has a couple of days the week after - so she will be well-integrated!

Hope this helps cheer you up a bit!!

:) Glad Purdey doing a bit better for you. What have you called the pup?

Mygirl - the toughts of you chasing a GD round the park made me smile - I'm sure I'll be doing the exact same in the not so distant future.

And you're right Snoopy1, it's actually not unlike most days in my house so I suppose it's just the cold making it feel worse and they only ever last a day or 2 really :)

I think we're going to call her Freya - she has been called Dils - but we already have a Dilly Blue Cat!!!

That's good news Jane :)

When I split with first hubby he wasn't allowed to see the kids for 3 months because he couldn't be trusted to be civil and it was really upsetting them

Things do get better... a bit like this housetraining lark

Well I  now feel OK to share my rotten day - at least if other people are feeling lousy too I wount be bringing them dow (and Hooray to those with good news!)  First today was the day my babes went to new homes - lovely couples, both of them, but I miss the Pups (even though I did keep 2 out of the litter for me!)  I always feel low when pups go, and I was still in the dumps from Monday when I have had to hand the Pug pups over!  (Werent mine, I just hand reared them!)  Then,, to cap it all, I was going to settle down to a total slob out evening of pizza and TV when guess what - the TV went Pfft and turned off.  Changed fuse, tried everything I can think, it is just dead, Oh, and I burned the Pizza while trying to fix TV.  Now trying to decided if I should go and buy new TV tonight, or just hibernate in bed!
bye

I can relate.  I had a rough morning.  I woke up 15 min before I was supposed to be at work.  Kirra was an angel and went right into her Kennel when it was time (something she has only just started doing).  Copper on the other hand, I had to manually insert him into his.  I drove to work, (I usually enjoy the walk).  I had to pay for parking (which I'll have to do again this evening when I come back to work).  I was half way to my office when I realized I may have left my lights on so I had to walk back to the car.  I ended up being a 1/2 hour late for work.  All this at the end of a horrible week.  I am so glad it is Friday and I get to go home at 2...oh wait, it's 2:27.  I'm outta here.  Hope eveyone has a good weekend.
I hope your day gets better.

As an addition to my previous message:

I've been at work now for 5 hours and for 4 1/2 of those, someone has been working on the fire alarm.  It goes off in little stints and my sanity goes a little every time it goes off.  I'm gunna kill someone soon.  :)
I'm off.
