what should room temperature be for one week old pups

S warm as you can get it usually warmer than is comfortable for you until they are about 2 weeks old then you can start dropping the temperature. Can't remember where but read that pups are more likely to survive if they are kept very warm than at a lower temperature.
I've never lost a puppy once they have been born and I keep room very warm.
