Id just hought Id let anyone whos having trouble with a young dog know not to give up hope!
Rogue an ISBT who i got at 6months used to eat my house(no joke) doors, skirting boards, walls!, break out of steel cages in minutes, be almost completly disobedient, mess in the house etc etc U get the picture.
Now at almost 2 she can be left unattended while im at work etc etc and is fully sorted and a very happy wee dog.
Now i dont know how much of this change is her age, anything Ive done (though id like 2 think so)mostly under guidance from here or the classes i took her too.Anyway sometimes u think ur dog just not going 2 be "normal" but ull get there in the end, if u listen 2 advice and are willing to spend the time.

Hi Rogue,
Can take even longer when you make the mistake that I did.
Mastiff bitch, speyed, well behaved 18mths old.
Get Bullmastiff dog, rescue 3wks ( no choice couldn't leave him), Mastiff mothered him. Everything sorted.
Bullmastiff and Mastiff housetrained, wellbehaved, everything sorted. Bullmastiff 8mths old, Mastiff nearly 2yr old.
2 JRT's 6wks, brothers, all bodes well. Mastiff mothers, Bullmastiff plays big brother, all well untill JRT's turn 12mths.
All hell breaks loose, JRT brothers decide to argue over their place in the pack, £185 vet bill.
Three weeks of hell constantly telling them off.
JRT's sort it out what do I do but take in another rescue.
Tiny, 8lb, Terrier-X, little sh*t. He has 'luxated patella' so needs his leg amputated. He thinks he owns the Universe.
He has argued with one of the JRT's and ended up at the vets (£49) He has argued with the Bullmastiff and got a whole in his nose.
Luckily my Mam & Dad have offered him a home with their lot, All bitches, so he will be fine. I am getting him neutered and his leg off before he goes to his new home. I pray that he will settle. He is good with cats, as they have two that good.

I know it is sometimes silly but I can't leave a dog in the circumstances that I have removed any of my rescues from. I have tried RSPCA and other 'animal rescues' over the years and got no help. I have had to help these animals out of my own pocket for many years.
I am now of limited resources but I would still not turn any animal down if I could help in any way.
Hopefully my ability to help may change soon.
