I already own a dear sheltie who is large for his breed (approx 19 inches tall). I would like to get another 'large' sheltie puppy to join us.  My current sheltie is 8 year's old,  has collie eye anomaly and is blind in one eye with sight failing in the other - but we still seem to manage very well with long walks and ball games!  I wondered whether a breeder could give me some advice on getting another puppy and whether I would be able to visit with my dog. I would want to do my best to make sure that my current babe and the puppy would both be happy.

Hello , if you have already checked out the Shetland Sheepdog breeders listed on Champdogs here  Champdogs breeders index then I would think your next step would be to get in touch with one of the breed clubs to see if they have a list of good breeders. The clubs are listed here :
