Luke has just been wormed at 3 months. This morning I witnessed him in the act of swallowing a very long earth worm, no doubt lured to the surface by the melting snow. Will it just be extra protein for him?

Maybe he`s hoping a bird will come along next eh ;) He must have felt a little peckish & decided to help himself to a little snack :D

Yes my lab did the same...he had very sloppy poo after it but there was no way i was fishing that out of his mouth! I hate worms! he also ate a lump of soil once too!

Oh yes just once - he prefers the horse muck variety more than just normal boring garden soil but he thought he would taste it just in case!
