My bitch is 42 days today and I have noticed quite a large opaque discharge on her bed. I cannot see anything in my book to tell me that may happen but then again do they ever. She had a similar discharge at 35 days. Should I be concerned as it is not coloured in anyway?
Her behaviour is getting very strange. We have tried to encourage her into her bed as she is scratching at my cupboards especially my computer cupboard at the top of the stairs. She is biting at her bed and will barely leave my side. If she can she will sit on my feet and boy is she heavy!!
I was also hoping to take her out in the car to my mother's as my brother is getting married on Saturday and the wedding is not far from my mum's we don't want to leave her on her own for very long and wasn't sure whether we can take her traveling in cars with just 3 weeks to go. I begrudge leaving her for longer than an hour these days.
Any advice on these two matters will be very much appreciated.

The discharge is completely normal, not to worry.
How far will you be traveling with her? Im sure she will be fine with it...the wanting to be with you all the time is just one of their quirks when they are pg. I have a bitch who is very independent...but the second she was pg she became glued to my side, it was very funny.
Hope that helps.

chill out!! she's just being a normal dog, doing normal doggy things! if she's a first time mum, your reassurance and companionship will be a help to her as she goes through a new experience. try not to stress out too much though as she will pick up on this. dont know what kind of bed you have but putting some torn up newspaper in it may be useful, she will enjoy rummaging it around and making a nest with it and it may save the bed from getting chewed etc!

Thanks for you replys. Getting my son dressed this morning and she tried her best to squeeze in between legs. She seems to be everywhere at the moment. I don't mind really but Jasper is feeling a bit left out so we try and involve him in as much as possible. I will only be travelling about 60 miles down the M4 but I just wanted to make sure it was okay.
Thanks for your advice and as usual you have been very understanding and your advice has been very much appreciated.
I have a paper shredder here at home if I shredded paper would that be okay?
Thanks again
