Please can you tell me how often I should be worming my 5 and half month old puppy.  She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  I am after some help as I have been given conflicting information.

Can't tell you what you should do but I worm every month till 6 months then at 9 months and again at a year, then every 6 months. Unless your dog is a vermin or a poo eater to worm every 3 months as the manufactures would like seems to me unnecessary.

Hi Tracy, I would speak to your vet!  My mothers dog was wormed every month for 3 months as a pup then once every three months - However, my pup had two worming tablets from the vet a month apart and the vet say's she will not need doing now for at least six months (cant remember off the top of my head what it was but it wasn't drontal) - So you will get conflicting advice and opinions.  The one thing I can say with certainty is that wormers from pet shops and supermarkets are rubbish, get one from your vet :)
