We have a 10mth old cocker and let him run over the fields. He often comes back agitated and wont settle. Scratching at the mat with his paws and crying, running around in circles. The fields are set aside for dogs and familys. So no chemicals or fertilisers. We soak his paws in salty water and try to settle him (as told to do by the vet). Is there a time limit on how long he should run?
