Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / He's behaving too well
- By pinarello [gb] Date 10.01.04 09:49 UTC
I know this sounds silly but for the last two days our 7 month old whippet pup has been behaving so well its worrying us, he is obeying our every command first time without hesitation this morning their were sandwiches on the kitchen worktop he looked at them I said NO and he didn't grab one and run off to his den.
I know this doesn't sound like a problem but it is a BIG change in his behaviour, we have had a 5 month old whippet pup staying with us for the last week who we will probably be having permanently from monday. The pup went back to his owner the day before this change of behaviour started so I'm assuming its this but I was expecting a negative change in his behaviour.
Why is he being so good ?? is he appeasing us because he thinks he's being punished by having his new friend taken away ?

Thanks

Or maybe he's pleased to have his mum and dad to himself??  Don't knock it - just enjoy it :)
