Hi Guest

I don't know of anyone who has Rottweiller pups but getting two at once is NOT a good idea - if you register with Champdogs you will be able to ask why I hold this opinion :)

Hi guest,

I have to agree with Christine , most breeders probably won't let you have two pups from the same litter at once.  Is there any particular reason why you want 2 at once?.  If you're under the impression that they'll keep each other company and amuse themselves, I'm afraid you've been miss-informed:).  Although it can work out, in most cases, the pups will bond with each other more than with you, and with a breed that especially needs to be socialised very well, this can cause problems later on.  I'm sure that there are a number of experience Rottie owners on the message board-if you join up, there's loads more info that you can ask them.
Let us know how it goes.
Ali:)

I have had a private email from this guest as Im sure other rottie breeders have
I basically told her the same thing.
Get one pup THEN another so advice is being given off the board too.

Hi,
Have you ever heard the saying "Two's company, three's a crowd"? Well, if you get two pups at the same time, you'll be the unwanted outsider to their friendship!

Get one first and raise and train it how you'd like it to be before you add another.
:)
