Has anyone given or had reiki done on their dogs?  My dog has colitis and EPI.  My roommate has offered to do reiki on my dog to see if it helps.   I figure it can't hurt him......

It can't hurt as you say, it does not replace any normal medication though.

I have used/practiced Reiki for a number of years now mostly for myself and found it excellent.

My elderly B Shepherd has had operations on both back legs recently.
My friend has reiki'd me in the past (i suffer with my back)so when she offered her magic hands to
Rox i said go for it-if Roxy wants you to.
Within seconds of placing her hands near ,Rox stretched  both bad legs then sprawled out and slept(snoring) whilst Jaine did her stuff.
This happened so many times that now everytime Rox see's jaine she sprawl's on the floor ready and waiting...
My Husband was sceptical but i explained that it helps when i hurt so it
could probably help the dog-and at that time she needed all the help she could get..ah Love her.
When we went to the vets for her post op check they were amazed at Rox's recovery and asked what magic i'd been useing.
I tell em "Cosequin,rimadyl,Reiki and 24/7 love,care and attention"
Wether it 's the Reiki,,Rox's determination,my love for her or our vets skills i don't know,a bit of each i say but i'd certainly use Rieki again.

Alongside the usual routine/excercise/medication.NOT instead of.
Hope this helps-good luck with ya dog.
