I have recently moved house and my female jack russell phebes has settled in nicely.

However next door have a large male labrador who is persitently getting into our garden and trying his luck with our phebes.

I do not know the neighbours or the dog yet and I am reluctant to intervene

Is there any preventive tips that anyone may have, or any ideas of how to keep the male dog at bay,my partner and I are concerned, and he says it is starting to get worrying

Many thanks

Have you had your bitch spayed if not stop it now as the dog will get her in whelp and she could die trying to pass lab sized pups, have you not got a high fence up if not put one up, chase the dog out, you must stop it now.

Yes there is a fence, but my partner will be repairing the gaps.  So we will be meeting the neighbours tonight to discuss the situation.

Thanks for your reply
