Ok have rethought idea of fabric crate for husky in light of the fact that I might want to put two in one and it won`t stand up to that sort of housing!

So ideally I am looking for a really lightweight crate(metal) for my husky so its needs to be about 36" or 42" in length.  Although I have three crates already they all have metal bases making them really heavy.  WHilst the bases are ideal for household use they are not for showing.

Can anyone recommend a decent quality showing crate that is really lightweight.  I`m only 9 stone and can`t cope with a husky and a heavy crate all at once!

Any recommendations would be useful!

Liz you should be able to get two husky's into the 42 inch fabric crate no bother.  3 full grown elkies (same weight but not as tall) fit fine.  I think they do an even larger one.

I`m just worried that with popping two in one that it might be prone to more wear and tear as mine like to play together whether in a crate or not.  Thats when I can picture the rolling crate scenario!
I would get the fabric crate if I could pick one up second hand but as money is tight atm I don`t want to invest in one only for it to be shredded later!

Oh I don`t know.....dilemmas dilemmas.  I just know that I`m fed up of constantly watching my dogs tail for fear of someone tredding on him!
