Just another quick one. Any one got any advice on how to introduce a lab pup to an 8yr old moggie? Hope they will both be fine, but just wondered if any of you out there knew of any magic tricks? :o)

If the cat is used to dogs & won't run off from the bouncy bundle of fun - they should get used to each other fairly quickly. If the cat hasn't been around dogs, may be a bit more difficult.
I've got the opposite situation, tomorrow I get my new kitten to introduce to my adult dogs. Mine will be fine though as they've always lived with cats.  :)

I introduced an afghan pup to a 10 year old cat....but the cat is rather feisty and showed the dog who is boss!!  best keep the first few introductions controlled and supervised, pup on lead. If you can, prevent your cat from running, as this induces a chase instinct in the dog.
