Many thanks Andy :)

hi

For our setter boy we have a lovely wax coat type rain jacket from countrymun.

There web site is www.countrymun.com

Would recormend them to anyone, they have many types of dog coats.

I have the wax jackets from Countrymum.  They are excellent.  Before anyone laughs about putting them on gundogs - they are for the two oldies who suffer arthritus and it keeps them nice and dry.  The youngsters would not consider wearing them!!!

LOL its the same with us, the old boy gets it to help prevent any artherites occuring to fast.

Saying that when it was raining once and I walked our dogs 2-2 I put the coat on your 5 yr old boy and he loved it and is most upset he cannot wear it again.

Mum is now in process of getting coats for them all so they come home dry (huh thats what she thinks!!!!!)

Andy surely he has a lovely waterproof coat of his own :D :D :D

Sorry I know there are times when it is nice to have a dry dog, especially when putting then in the car after a walk.  I just find it amusing putting a coat on an animal that already has an enviable one of it's own.

I don't drive so my dogs walk home, are told to "shake" byt the front door, get rubbed down in the kichen, and left in thre until they dry a bit before being allowed back in living room.,  Otherwise they would use the carpet (well what was carpet once) and furniture as dog towels.

Hi

Gillrugs do wonderful made to measure coats for all dog breeds/sizes and you can get them by mail order.  The makers give very easy to understand instructions on how to measure your dog and the coats come in a range of colours.

Our dogs currently have them and compared to ones they've had before these are THE BEST!!

I got the phone number from the ad section in Our Dogs & Dogs Today magazines but don't have it to hand right now but I'm sure they are regular advertisers there.

I also have those silver coats from Countrymum for the hot days.  Now my young bitch hates the waterproof coats but thinks the "shiny one" is just the biz!!!
