I recently asked for help to find a lakeland fox terrier stud dog. Lakeland/patterdale fox terriers are a deliberate cross, for working reasons. I had got two dogs lined up over a year ago to mate with my bitch but they have let me down at the last minute. I need a black, or black and tan dog to mate with my black and tan bitch. She is two years old and if i dont mate her this time i will have to wait another year as next time she comes into season will be the wrong time of the year. I have got a high demand for pups from her, as she is an exellent working dog, and very pretty faced. How can i find a little fox terrier dog that is a good working dog too?

Would suggest you try a magazines that deals with sporting pursuits. Or those you meet when taking part in working activities with your dogs. Most of us are not specialists in dogs bred for working so may not be of much help.
If you wish to ask further questions may I suggest it would be a good idea to register as a member.

I have tried alot of people i know but most of them have dogs related to mine. I want a dog with completely different blood lines. I have searched the internet and cant find any. I have now registered!

Unfortunately and not surprisingly Champdogs is in the most part concerned with pedigree breeds although a lot of members have crossbreeds and rescues they do not specialise in sporting crosses. Someone may have a suggestion but I would not expect too much.
