I have been drinking JD all night and feeling a bit gone out now, so i should not really be posting :-D, but i have had a wonderful evening, some of the friens have been really suprised how i have managed to keep the house in order with Paige and all the dogs.
Paige has spent today and spending tomorrow with her Grandparents, so i am child free until sunday. Some of my friends have had their car keys confiscated by me, two of them have now fell asleep downstairs, it wont be long before the rest follow suit :D

I've had a chest infection all over xmas and been on antibiotics. But the antibiotics have been making me feel worse than the chest infection :( so I have stopped taking them. As such, I haven't drunk much, but I've managed a few glasses of Baileys and 2 glasses of a very nice red tonight :)
It has to be a warm glass (or two) of mulled wine. We left ours warming on the Rayburn yesterday morning while we walked the dogs. When we got home there was that lovely smell with the wine and the turkey roasting mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Get Well soon Chloe, lets hope you can enjoy the New Year :-)
I tried some Sheridans tonight (always buy a bottle as it was Janes favorite, and it is a favorite of her mothers) i never tried it in all the years me and Jane were married, but i had a glass full with ice and toasted Jane with it, and was quite surprised how it tasted, think it will become a favorite of mine.

So glad that you had a great Christmas and I hope that Paige did too. Take care and I hope that you didn't get toooooo drunk :d

its not the drink thats made me feel ill...its the food....those pickled eggs were a mistake......:(

Any dry white wine for me....I dread to think how many bottles we've gotten through this christmas, but it's enough for me to think I'd better not drink for the whole of 2004!!
Dean, glad you and Paige have had a good christmas..
Take care
Lisa

I like a rather large glass of Baileys without ice. I prefer it at home as I find if I have one after a meal when we go out it is on the small side
