Not sure how many of you will remember my post a while back about my neighbours rotty and the vet that told her to have a litter before they get her spayed, they said they'd let her have a litter anyway as she had good blood lines even though they admitted to having no time, space or patience to bring up a litter!
Well, she turned a year old last week and was found dead in her kennel yesterday morning(poor beggar)apparently they took her for an autopsy and were told that she had a heart attack as a result of a heart condition that she would have been born with(something to do with tubes from the heart going to the wrong place?)Now they are planning on sueing the breeder as they said she should have known but even their own vet didn't pick up on it.All they can think of is the money, whilst she was telling me that the dog had died her daughter was standing there laughing about it.It made me sick to be quite honest and i hope to god they don't get another one,for the sake of the dog.
R.I.P. Tiggy,i'm sure its a much better place you're in now, enjoy the peace little one.
Poor Tiggy,
Lets just hope they don't get another one - perhaps you could mention that living outside may not have helped her condition, if she had been with them more they may have noticed something wrong and been able to do something about it.

Very sorry to hear about poor Tiggy.
very sad to her about the rottie poor little girl
How awful. My first Rottweiler died of a heart attack at 12 months of age. The only thing I noticed was that he became breathless after a walk. Then one morning at 6.30am I found him dead on the kitchen floor. I think I rang every vet in the area, because I couldn't get hold of mine, who said they couldn't help, I was distraught - it was my first dog. My vet did an autopsy and the dog had a deformed heart. The breeder wanted a second opinion which I declined and they offered another dog from their next litter which I also declined. Shortly after that I found out that they were purely in it for the money. I have steered clear from buying/breeding anything from those lines. So I feel sorry for those people in a way but they sound like they shouldn't have had a dog in the first place if all they are interested in is money.
