Our puppy is 9wks old and has got a 'puppy' kong,so far she has only chewed it empty,is it too early to start putting 'treats' inside it,to keep her attention a bit longer and to save my chairs, table, kitchen units, vertical blinds!toes!from further chewing attempts?
If so what do you suggest I start her off on? I thought maybe a markie or some cheese, but I'm not sure if these are suitable,I don't want an upset tummy from something too 'rich'.
She is on a dried diet of Eukanuba and Ped.Chum Puppy and is fed 4xsmall meals a day at the moment.
Thank-you,
Jacqueline.

To start with you could always put one of her meals in the kong, they do this at Battersea with pups and older dogs.  At least you will know she is used to the food and wont get an upset tummy :)

I would stay off the Markies or anything similar; commercial dog treats are dire even for an adult.  Her regular meal in it, look under Kong on the net and there are lots of recipes.  Frozen ones keep them occupied even longer!
