i'm thinking of buying a black lab bitch of my friend, but i want to find out a bit about her pedigree, rang KC there only could give me colours and hip scores for three generations, just wondered if anyone out there had any of them had these in theres so i can see if she has any dogs that have had HD or eye problems

It's Holgate Swallow by Holgate Willy out of Holgate Megan (not Holdagate Swallow)
Derryboy Daniel is by Holgate Willy out of Derryboy Blue Teal
Swinbrook Twig I don't have but I would guess it would date back to Swinbrook Tan
The Drakeshead dogs by John and Sandra Halstead need nothing more said! Their name goes before them

These are all dogs in my Anna's pedigree, some good working lines there. The rest I have no personal knowledge of.

A few of the names mentioned come up in my lab's pedigree
FTCh Swinbrook Twig  Hip Score 2/3 by FTCh Drakeshead Actor of Shotgate out of FTCh Palgrave Kay.
FTCH IRFTCH Leacross Rinkals by FTCh Swinbrook Tan out of Holgate Swallow and FTCH Derryboy Daniel but unfortunately don't have hip scores for them.  I have a six generation pedigree given to my by the breeder which includes some hip scores but nothing after the fourth generation.  I assume that the further back you go the less likelihood of them having hip scores, but I may be totally wrong on that.
As far as colour goes you  may find this useful.

thanks everyone, some of these are quite new to me, have decided to get her anyhow, as she has such a sweet temperment :D

Jackyjat - i have never heard of wilton park, but hopefull with many more hours on the net i might bring something up :D
