my bitch was mated on 13th oct no tie 14th oct slip mating 15th oct tie for 20 mins 16th oct slip mating she was took to a very experienced breeder who used his top performing stud dog he has advised me that because she is a maiden bitch she should of had her pups if she is having any by now we didnt have her scanned as we were convinced after all these matings she would be pregnant she is very large in the rib cage and her teats are all sagging and full of milk but her temperature hasnt changed only her character in the last 2 days she is very very excited tail wagging constantly and barking for my attention! we have her in her whelping box but i cant feel anything moving she has no discharge from her vulva yet my other bitch used to have a clear discharge a few days before whelping and she is not nest building do you think she is havingyet another phantom as this will be her third please give me some advice i so desperately want some puppies from my baby by the way i forgot to mention she is a bullmastiff.

Sorry but your friend is wrong
if she was mated on 13th Oct she would be due 15th December
and her last mating she wold be due 18th December
even these dates can be out a little as it doesnt mean the eggs were ripe
on these dates so YES your bitch can srill have her pups up to a week past
these dates.

Can you not get her scanned?
If you let people know where you are I am sure
they will put you in touch with a vet or person that can scan her.
You need to know even if its to get all the things you
need ready for her.
