Yesterday i got a parcel from a catalogue company that i haven't used for years, with stuff in that i hadn't ordered.I rang them to ask what was going on and they insisted that i had rung them on 14th dec and placed the order, which is a total lie.The stuff was nothing i would be seen dead in, as well as a horrid flannelette sheet, which i hate.Obviously someone must have done it to take the p**s, but how did they know my account number, it's very weird....Now guess who has to mess about sending it back???

My mum has been having the same problem with a catalogue company recently. She did order some stuff, but they sent the wrong things in completely the wrong sizes, several times. Today she recieved a letter thankyou for your order, these items with be coming shortly - but she hasn't made any order. I wonder if its the same company?

have you had a recent statment from the catalogue it would be worth checking that there are no other odd additions it has been known for people to use your identity for fraud

Maybe the person who took the order over the telephone typed in the account number wrongly, thus you being sent the stuff instead of the other person.

well as you didnt order the stuff just tell them if they want it back they will have to arrange for it to be picked up. why should you mess about sending it back.

i know a woman who dident like this other lady, the lady thought she was a freind. well she knew she had been ordering stuff from a cat . and rang them up and kept ordering stuff , nasty huge clothes . it wasent till she spoke to a freind of mine it came out and my freind  was v good freinds with the lady who recived the clothes .a bill was sent in the end to the person who was placing the orders for wasted time . very nasty lady!
