The daugther of a friend I work with bought a siberian Husky pup about a year ago.He is very distructive and I have been advising the use of a crate but they wouldn't use one saying it was cruel.
However I think it got to the point where they couldn't take it any longer and so I lent them my crate which was in storage awaiting the next pup. That was 10 days ago and I saw my freind yesterday expecting all sorts of horror stories and to hear that they were giving up cos he didn't like it..after all crate training a year + old dog is not as easy as crate training a pup is it!! Well she says its a great success...the dog loves his new bed and often goes in just for a kip. They only have to get ready to go out and he 'goes to bed' and is a very content little sibe!! Its so nice to know that he is now safe and happy when left and that everyone,2 and 4 legged, can enjoy life and relax...no more stress and telling offs!!

Fantastic! Sounds like you saved the husky from being rehomed, and that must be such a good feeling. All credit to pups owners for training him so quickly too. :D

Only trouble is you might have trouble getting the crate back!

I lent a crate to someone abouyt a year ago, and then they offered to let me have "30 for it (I paid £70 and it had been little used), still haven't had crate or money :D
