I am very interested in this unusual breed.

Is it a suitable dog for a household with children?  Where can I get in touch with a breeder?

Hello

I have heard they are excellent with children, there is reputable breeder i know of in bristol.
Contact Mrs.Reyna Knight who has the affix CHIQUE, her email addy is renya@chique.u-net.com, i dont like giving phone numbers out on the forum, but if you would like to join, i can send you her number by e-mail.
Good Luck,
Dean

Dont sit on the fence Dawn ... why dont you tell us what you really think :D :D :D

The guest was not asking if they stink Dawn, they were asking for some constructive advice, how rude of you.

If they do have a bit of a pong about them it could be constructive because alot of people wouldnt want to keep a naturally smelly dog in the house. JMHO

Some breeds do tend to have more of a doggy odour than others though, I wouldnt know about this breed though :)

The breeds with the most .... erm .... 'distinctive' odour ;) I have ever come across have been Otterhounds and Komondors.

They do smell but not as much as some other breeds as there coats take a lot longer to reach the floor and I know of a few that have gone for other dogs at shows.  Most of them do seem to have a lovely nature with people though.

Sorry I can't give any more details, but there are some breeders listed on this site and I'm sure that they would be more than happy to help you.
