hello
i had an emergency and needed bring my puppy into work with me... we are roughly 20 here in the office....

he's strolled in very merrily and getting used to all the faces.......

please tell me do you think this is  too early for this kind of socialisation or good experience??

any thoughts??

Excellent for socialisation, as long as everyone likes dogs and he doesnt piddle on the floor :D :D

Very good experience for him! Watch out for accidents, though! He may end up being 'office dog' - if he's lucky!

I take my 10 year old to work with me some days.  He loves it.  We are trying to teach him constructive jobs to do but he is more interested in scrounging peoples lunches!!

My 18 month old corgi comes to work in the office - about 15 people here not including visitors. He is loved by everyone, he has his toys, bones etc on his rug under my desk and he is played with and taken for walks.

He is very good at home around mealtimes but my colleagues sneak him the odd bit of lunch which has turned him into a bit of a scrounger but not too bad.

His business card says "Office Shredder" and he does that job quite well if you toss him a scrunched up document. He also has his own phone.  :)

I won't tell Laser about the phone!!  He will be demanding his too!!!!!

Does he have a business card and email addy as well :-)

Excellent, you cannot OVER socialise a dog!

Our previous dog began to get a bit fat when my hubby took her to work,but he was sure she wasn't getting little 'treats',until he caught one chap feeding her toasted bacon butties! so be careful that you lay down some guidelines for your other office workers as well as for your pup;)
Our new puppy will be going to work with my hubby,for 3 days of the week when I work,so we are getting the 'please do not feed me' signs posted out already :D

As people have said, lay down some guidelines about people feeding your pup, but apart from that, it's a great way of socialising.
Don't suppose you'd like to take some of my dogs to work with you as well would you?!
