We are currently holding a white standard poodle bitch in our kennels handed to Humberside Police as a stray dog. In the twelve years of doing this job this is the first standard we have had. It is strange that nobody has come forward for the dog.  We are keen to repatriate the dog with owner. Does anybody know of such a dog being lost or stolen in strange circumstances>

It is unusual for a standard to be a stray. I do the rescue and re-homing for the standard poodle club for Yorks and the north east. We have people who have been checked etc waiting for rescues. Most have had standards before. If this bitch needs a home please contact me.
