Has anyone experience of both and if so how do they differ as far as temperament/character goes?

Poodles are very bouncy dogs so whilst in a mini it can be quite endearing and not too much of a problem you wouldn't think the same in a fully grown standard. Characteristics and temperament should be the same in all 3 sizes. They should be amiable and very people orientated. They are incredibly intelligent dogs and also very active.

Some standards can be a bit nervie. Something I've not noticed so much in the smaller sizes.
